This farm was built in 1905 by John Chalupsky, son of Joseph Chalupsky. It later became the home to John's daughter Agnes (Chalupsky) O'Donnell. The home was filled with many wonderful treasures from the past. Lawrence and Laura remodeled the home when they bought it in  the mid 80s. The photo at the top of the page is what it looks like today. It is on the west side of highway 61.

These photos at the top are what the house looked like when the Lawrence and Laura Chalupsky bought it in the mid 80s.

This was a landscape photo that was at the Chalupsky farm. The house on the top right looks like the shed in the photo below. The shed was the original house until   the bigger house was built.  This possibly was one of the very first structures built in Beroun. The shed still stands today.

Just a couple of the items that were at the auction that the Chalupskys had in October of 2012.

Just some of the treasures from the Chalupsky Homestead. The book on the left is dated 1924. The top two photos were found in the shed that used to be the house.

This is a photo of Agnes (Chalupsky) O'Donnell.  She grew up in this home and later became a teacher at the Beroun School. She and her husband lived in this house also.

A few of the treasures still inside the home. Photos by Judy Scholin

This farm was the home of Albert Chalupsky, son of Joseph Chalupsky. It became the home of Francis and Agnes Kryzer. They moved the house to another spot on the property to build a new one. It has since been torn down. It was one of the first homes built in Beroun.

This photo was taken in the early 30's. Lydia Chalupsky and her daughter Loiuse are standing in front of the barn. Louise's grandpa Albert painted the picture behind them. It was still there when Francis and Agnes lived there. It has since faded.

This is the wedding photo of Lydia and Lois Chalupsky. Lydia's brother Joe and her sister Mary stood up for them.

This picture was given to me by Kathryn Schlaeger. Steve Saumer repainted it. The Schlaegers bought it from Joe Ploub. It had been purchased at the Mikyska Store. (photo of the store is in the book). The side of the box reads: Lenhart since 1876   Sold by V.A. Mikyska   Beroun, Mn.
